Joel, this is a great posting and a concept that is way overdue. A yearly review of the most sustainable businesses in a popular business magazine will increase awareness and promote positive one-upsmanship in corporate environmentalism. I do hope that the Green 50 will evolve in time to become the Green 500.

I just went and purchased a copy to read. I liked what I read, for the most part. It mentioned some companies that I wasn't familiar with.


I'd love a longer explicit summary of "all the rest" of the "more cutting-edge moves companies are making".

Other than keeping up with Greenbiz and this blog, are there some good concise publications on other more aggressive steps for us beginners out here?
